Camp Zambezi

Camp Zambezi is a luxury static camp set up on the bank of the mighty Zambezi River. Guests can experience the full range of safari activities including game drives, canoeing and walking.
No previous canoeing experience is necessary but guests need to be reasonably fit and healthy. This package includes a pre-night in Harare before you set off on your canoeing adventure.

Group Size: Minimum 2 people, maximum 8 people

Includes: Return airport transfer to Mbizi Game Park, Harare. 1 night’s accommodation at Mbizi Game Park, incl. dinner, bed and breakfast. Scheduled return flight to Mana Pools Main airport. 3 Nights accommodation at Camp Zambezi, all meals with imported wines, local beers, spirits, mineral water, teas/coffees and cordials. Use of camping and canoe equipment, game activities and services of a professional guide. 

Excludes:
Airport departure taxes, visa fees, optional activities, travel insurance, items of a personal nature such as souvenirs etc., national park fees unless stipulated.

Day 1:  Harare, Zimbabwe
On arrival at Harare International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Mbizi Game Park where you will spend the first night. The lodge is situated 22 km from the city centre and is a refuge for giraffe, zebra (mbizi), warthog and various antelope roaming free about the property. [D]

Day 2: Harare to Mana Pools National Park In the morning you will be taken back to the airport in time for your scheduled flight to Mana Pools National Park, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to Camp Zambezi, a mobile tented camp. You may by then already have met a few of your neighbours on the way - elephant, kudu, zebra, impala and many birds! The chef will have a delicious lunch prepared before you embark on an afternoon walk or game drive, returning to camp for sundowners, a hot (or cold if you prefer) shower, and a fine dinner. [BLD]

Day 3 & 4: Camp Zambezi         
To make the most of your days – we suggest you rise early, to check for spoor and animal activity around camp and to enjoy a beautiful African sunrise. After breakfast set off on your morning’s activity – you may take to the river for the day or set off by vehicle or on foot to explore the national park. Whether you opt for land or water activities – half or full day – you can be assured of incredible experiences. [BLD, BLD]

Day 5: Departure
Depending upon your time of departure, there will be a short game drive to the airstrip where we bid you farewell. [B]
